Analysis of the Top Competitors in the

 Energy drinks industry is considered to be a are a sub group of the overall soft drink industry, for this SEO audit i will be looking at two industry leaders Red Bull and Gatorade, the purpose of this post would be to determine which key words are highly linked to each energy drink brand.

·      The web site is not just advertising their product, there are applying the content marketing method by showing clips of events and stunts that are sponsored by red bull
·      Home page is very colorful
·      The company is primarily advertising its products on the home page
·      The home page is  not to cluttered and all the company information is easily found at the bottom of the web page.

·      The website home page shows off pictures of events and extreme sports that red bull has been involved in rather than just showing product offering.

Google Trends Insights:

Using Google trends we analyzed Red bull and Gatorade; both were trending in comparison to the energy drink industry as a whole. Theses three categories were analyzed over the last 12 month, After further analysis the results clearly suggest that Red Bull has been a dominant leader in the Energy drink industry. Although Gatorade is also considered a big name in the sports drink industry it seems to be trending significantly less than red bull

Summary/Conclusion

My finding are that Red Bull is a very strong force in the  energy drink industry, it is one of the leaders leaving behind one of its biggest competitors (Gatorade), it also showed that red bulls highest peak was in the beginning of the new year of 2016, this suggests that red bull may not only be used during spots events but as well as social events such as new years eve parties, Christmas parties.

In conclusion red bull is the dominating force in the energy drink market, it is not only used during sports event but as well as social events. In contrast although Gatorade is a very strong competitor, it is still not able to equally compete with red bull in the last 12 months
