XYIENCE has a long way to go, I kind of feel like they are giving
up. They have has no recent posts anywhere other than Facebook and Twitter. And
they have no sponsored events or athletes when they are clearly the healthier
alternative to Monster. I can only assume they are financially restricted and
cannot keep up to the behemoth Monster and its grasp on the industry. XYIENCE
needs to upload more content following the 50/50 rule on YouTube and as well as
have some sponsored athletes. Have a broader campaign for itself as a healthy
alternative. Promote awareness of the product through contests on Twitter or
Facebook. With these changes I am sure they could start raising brand awareness
easily! I wish them luck.
This blog is about the digital marketing analysis of energy drink brands, which apply the best strategies and implementation.

Monster vs XYIENCE on YouTube
YouTube is an addictive place to visit and a lot of people
spend their days watching short videos whether it is awesome podcast or how to
videos or especially music videos. With short videos on YouTube companies and
others can tell a story. XYIENCE unfortunately has not posted any videos in the
last 6 months. This is not a good trend nor is it a good way to provide content
to its fans. Monster seems to post on average once a week. Monster posts videos
about its sponsored athletes and as well as clips of its sponsored events.
XYIENCE’s most recent posts is just isolated to one event and with one person,
Sam Ponder a college football reporter. I cannot really say that XYIENCE has a
most successful video, but if I have to choose it would be their first video 8
months ago with 9k views and Monster’s most recent one had 242k views, its
clear Monster has it together on YouTube. I think XYIENCE’s video was
successful because it was new and fresh and using those factors made people
curious but after that it had zero presence. Monster’s video was successful
because it had a video of one of its athletes and as well created a YouTube
series called “The Doctor” which was a 5 episode series, with lots of beautiful
views from many race tracks around the world and short interviews as well as
some actual racing footage from the Grand Premio D’Italia which is motorsport
at its most fine spine-tingling and tribal. Monster has 957 videos and XYIENCE
has 15. Monster wins again.

Monster vs XYIENCE Which Company Tweets a Nicer Song to be heard on Twitter
Twitter is the a social media power house, it has exploded
in the recent decade and is almost the go-to for up to date opinions from
companies, celebrities, and politicians. But it also allows regular people to
respond to current events and even make public complaints against companies or
specific people. Let’s measure these brands up and see who dominates Twitter.
Monster tweets every day and multiple times a day almost even safe to say they
tweet about every 6-8 hours. XYIENCE only posts daily. Monster definitely
dominates this category. Monster posts mostly pictures and video clips of its
sponsored events and uses as much hashtags as possible. XYIENCE also posts many
pictures, but no videos and includes as many hashtags as it can. When following
the 50/50 rule I would say that XYIENCE follows it better than Monster.
Technically speaking this would be a win for XYIENCE. Monster uses many
hashtags of athletes and events it sponsors. XYIENCE only uses hashtags that
are general like national burger day or other mentioned holidays in America.
XYIENCE really needs to up its game with hashtags and keywords, Monster wins
this one. XYIENCE does not have a pinned tweet and the average reaction to its
tweets makes it hard to choose a most successful tweet. However Monster’s
pinned tweet being its most successful one in the past 25 days has had 1.2k
retweets and 3k likes. XYIENCE is lacking content on Twitter, Monster is a
clear winner here. I think Monster was successful because they posted a short
clip of Valentino Rossi, as well as a YouTube link an emoji and relatable
hashtags. XYIENCE should take notes!

Monster vs XYIENCE Energy Drink Facebook War
It
seems that a lot of companies have Facebook pages these days. With social media
so important in today’s world, Facebook could be one of the best places to
bring up brand awareness and acquire new customers. It is also important for
companies to be current and entertaining to its customers and fans to be
followed on Facebook and stay followed on Facebook. Let us look at Monster and
XYIENCE at a glance. Monster has been posting every day for the past 25 posts,
including pictures and quotes as well as mentioning athletes with a big fan
base. All this contributes to Monster’s brand awareness. XYIENCE a competitor
and a smaller brand’s last post was also every day for the past 25 days.
Alright! Let’s call them even for now. Another funny thing I noticed is that
most companies do not post on holidays, it is as if even social media takes a
day off. Now although Monster has all these athletes and events to talk about
XYIENCE does post pictures often with MEMES and positive messages. What’s the verdict on Professional Etiquette?
Well both most definitely follow the 50/50 rule but Monster does it less so, we
can assume they are safe from losing customers either way for now. Monster
tends to be using athlete names as keywords and hashtags of its sponsored
events. While XYIENCE has zero hyperlinks or hashtags but does like to use its
own names in its titles a lot. Definitely got to give this category win to
Monster. Let us look at who has the most successful posts…. Monsters had 896k
views of its pinned post as well as 2988 shares. XYIENCE has 9 likes and 1
share. Safe to say Monster wins by a landslide.
I think Monster was successful because they tagged Valentino Rossi a
motorcycle athlete and as well used a hashtag for the event VR46 Series, AND
even linked a shortcut to a YouTube video, but they even embedded it just in
case. XYIENCE did none of the above mentioned....

A
Look into the Energy Drink Industry’s Web Search optimization
Written
by: Paul Lopez.
“Monster
vs XYIENCE in comparison”
Introduction
The Energy Drink industry is dominating the sports world. Although there are many options to choose from there really are only few dominant figures. Monster for example has many commercials and sponsored extreme and non extreme sporting events. Although an up and coming competitor who is very social media savy (XYIENCE) is attempting to infiltrate the market. Will Monster hold on to its share of wallet, or will Xyience steal some market share?

Google Trends Insights:
Over the past
twelve months Monster is dominating the trend graph, and Xyience is not even
noticeable. Monster has doubled and tripled even at different points its own
category of energy drinks. This shows that Monster is ahead of the curve when
it comes to Energy Drink trends.

Summary:
My findings are that Monster is a dominant force in the
Energy Drink industry. Also that Xyience Energy Drinks, are lacking in many
aspects to reach consumers through Search Engine Optimization. The Strength of
each site is that they are very colourful and have links to various forms of
social media.
Conclusion:
In conclusion Monster has the superior site. It had a very
well optimized site and is currently dominating the trends in the energy drink
market. Xyience although a newcomer has all the tools available to maximize its
efforts through Search Engine Optimization but is still lacking in implementing
such tools.
