When looking over each brands Facebook page, I found that
5-HourEnergy Shot took the lead. 5 Hour posted on average once every 3-5 days
while Nos energy was only once a week. I also found that both brand used the
50/50 rule often. Each brand posts content like:
· Promotional videos
· Funny images about staying awake on
the job
· Where the product is sold
· Images of professional athletes that
promote each brand
Keyword
sentences from 5-hour posts were aimed more at students like, Congrats grads! All those all-nighters were
worth it! And Pre-Finals lectures
putting you to sleep? We’ve got your wake up. Nos energy Facebook content
is about its NASCAR sponsors so some keyword sentences consisted of, NOS Energy looks good at the top! #kylebusch #LiveNOS and It's race day here at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway.
5 hour energy had its most successful recent post back on May 1st.
The post was for families who had lost a family member in the military. The
post consisted of a video that included the families of fallen soldiers. The
videos got over 7000 views and had 37 likes as well as 22 shares
I feel that this was a
successful post because war impacts many families around the world and this
video can relate to that.

This was Nos Energy’s most successful
post from April 14th. This post got liked by over 24,000, was shared
338 times and was commented on 225 times. I feel that this post was successful
because not only did they increase the size of the cans to 24 ounces but they
tied in the number 18 which is Kyle Busch’s NASCAR number.
5 hour
energy shot has 100,866 likes, 675 internal followed links and page load times
is 3.32 seconds.
Nos energy
drink has over 500,000 likes, 383 internal followed links and a page load time
of 4.84 seconds.
