Red Bull VS Gatorade on YouTube



This post will be comparing two of the industries top brands Red bull and Gatorade’s  YoutTube channel. Red Bull is highly active on their YouTube account their channel has over 5 thousand video posted with over 5 million subscribers currently following the account. On average 2 to 3 video are posted on a day-to-day basis, most of these videos are 30 seconds to 4 minutes long. The video content predominantly consists of a variety of clips of sports games, stunts featuring professional athletes and amateurs, and small clips of the numerous Red Bulls promotional events that have take place world wide. The channel also hosts a range of niche channels, from music to specific types of sports. One of the most recent and successful video on the channel was “World Record 1km Sky Line set by Nathan Paulin and Danny Menslk”  the video was posted on May 26th 2016 and had generated over a hundred thousand views.

        Gatorade's Channel has over 300 videos with more that ninety thousand people subscribed to the channel. Upon further analysis of the channel it evident that Gatorade is not very active on the channel, the channels most recent post was a tribute video to Peyton Manning, which has more than 8 million views. Majority of the content is approximately 30 seconds to 5 minutes video clips of commercials starring famous athletes, #DearPyeton series, their #playcool Gatorade frost commercials, and their #WinFromWithin series where they showcased armature athletes talent and lives.
